A One-Year Development Programme for Novelists
Working on a novel? Need a little guidance along the way?
Writers Toolkit is not just another novel-writing course, it’s a complete novel writing apprenticeship designed to cover all the essentials of fiction. Over the course of a year (or so), writers will work towards knocking their manuscript into shape under the guidance of an experienced professional.
Writers Toolkit is a stripped-back and accessible novel-writing programme designed with you in mind. (Regular appraisals are supplemented with notations on the manuscript, exercises, worksheets and one-to-one interaction.)
Writers Toolkit works with a range of writers, from new writers starting out to those mid-draft or wishing to revisit an existing draft. We treat writers as individuals and tailor input accordingly.
“Writers Toolkit helped me better define my plot and characters, gain a much better understanding of professional layout, and sharpen my idea of genre. I would certainly recommend Writers Toolkit very highly.”
Cameron Riddle used Writers Toolkit to complete the first full draft of his manuscript.
“I found your approach comprehensive and eye opening. You’ve already helped clear up some of the fog and to see things from a reader’s perspective. … I’m happy to re-write these chapters with all your suggestions in mind. I feel it’s important to get these right so that they can be a strong foundation for the rest of the manuscript.”
